This is for my sister Meredith who keeps harassing me about a new blog post. I would like to apologize to all for the lack of blogging, but quite frankly I haven't felt like doing much these past two weeks especially blogging. Also, I haven't felt that I have had much to blog about except for the serious discomfort I have been feeling as a result of the growing fetus in my uterus.

Brent, Dakota, and I did go to my first OB appointment yesterday. Unfortunately nothing fun really happened. Just your usual paperwork, screenings and tests. We have an ultrasound scheduled for next week though. We're excited about seeing the little beastmode.

Dakota is getting really excited about being a big brother. He asks pretty much every day "Why does it take so long for the baby to grow?" He thought we were going to the doctor yesterday so the doctor could take the baby out. I had to explain that no, the baby has to stay in my belly for a long time to grow big and strong. I told him my belly has to grow like Aunt Stacy's before the baby will be ready to come out. He had a better understanding after I explained the Aunt Stacy thing. Anyway, all is well here. I'm having boiled peanuts and nectarines fresh from the produce market for lunch today. Isn't pregnancy bliss?! Peace out peeps! Hope this little pregnancy update ties you over Meredith for a couple of days.

P.S. Brent's coaching is going well. Catholic High is almost done with their regular season and they are doing fantastic. On the forefront: District champs, playoffs, finals, whatever. It will never end...We love soccer though!
