Resolutions?????

It's already January 5th and I'm having a difficult time coming up with worthwhile, non-generic, New Year's Resolutions. I know that there are certain goals I want to obtain, but I always hesitate to proclaim them as resolutions for the New Year because I feel like that would be setting myself up for failure if the year comes and goes and I haven't reached them. However, I feel confident that some things will avail this year that I have been waiting for. Brent and I both feel stagnant with our jobs and career paths and are brainstorming, along with prayer, about what would be best for our family's future. Perhaps we'll re-visit the resolution/goal setting at the end of this years first quarter and see where we stand.

On another note, our New Year's was nice. We spent the few days before the New Year visiting my sister and her family in the Orlando, FL area. She is a New Year's baby so there is always a little birthday celebration along with bringing in the new year. I did take my first belly dancing class with my sis on New Year's Eve. I wouldn't dare show anyone outside of the class my moves as my hip and arm coordination is lacking. It was a lot of fun and a pretty good workout nonetheless.

We spent New Years Day at Disney. This time around we visited Disney's Hollywood Studios (MGM) and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Brent was an extra for the Indiana Jones show and all of its special effects. There were so many captivating shows and tours that we were able to participate in. Thank you Dave and Jean for getting us in the park (for FREE!). We loved it!

Now we're all safely back to work and school after a torturous 13 hour drive back to Baton Rouge this past Sunday. The traffic was absolutely terrible from Orlando all the way to Mississippi due to the Capital One Bowl Traffic (Alabama) and Gator Bowl (Miss. St). No more road trips with two kids at least for a while.

Traveling is hard especially when you are in a time crunch. It is easier when you can drive for awhile and then rest It is at least bearable.
New Years resolutions are good, but I am not making any this year, I just break them. I am setting a goal or two, but not for a whole year, a month then I will add on. There is one that I kept, I lost the weight and I am keeping it off so far.
Good luck with it all. Love you MUCHO!

Brent was an extra in the Indiana Jones show? What did he do? I really like your header picture on your blog.
