ALL COMING TOGETHER...(Warning...this is a little sappy!)
Well, I don't usually get too personal on the blog or facebook because you never know who is reading what has been posted. But, I just wanted to type a post about my wonderful little family. Brent and I have been married for just over three months now and while it has been wonderful, there have been some kinks to work out with all of our transitions. One of those biggest transitions has been with Dakota and helping him adjust to his new life. Brent and I did not go into this marriage thinking life would be bliss, but we knew that the love we had for one another and our Heavenly Father would allow us to work through our challenges.
I never could have imagined I would have found such a loving and patient step-father for Dakota, but I DID! Not only is he so loving and patient with Dakota, but with me as well. One thing I always knew about Brent was that he came from good stock. I knew there was something awesome about this guy from the time I first met him. Don't get me wrong because I wasn't planning our wedding or anything from the moment we met, but it did eventually just click and I realized that I was in "this" forever. Forever doesn't seem long enough some times because I am completely in love with him and can't imagine ever being without him.
We are all happy to report that we are settling into our new lives and really enjoying the journey.

Thanks for sharing. :) It's nice to get a little glimpse into the inside scoop once in awhile. It used to scare me to share personal things too, but sometimes you've just gotta say it, huh? :)
I'm so glad you guys are happy together. We love ya'll so much. Thanks for being our friends. (you know, the "REAL" kind of friends. the genuine kind that can survive pretty much anything.)

Awww...I have goose bumps. I'm glad you've joined the "stock."
Admittedly, Brent is the winner in this situation. Hands down.
