I guess I'll be making regular posts on our blog if I continue to wake up at such early hours. I can't get much else done in the house or else I run the risk of waking everyone up.
Our 13-month old washer went out a few weeks ago. We've been trying to decide what to do to replace it (Fix the motor, buy a refurbished machine, buy brand new, or buy a used one on craigslist.) My brother Jason stopped by our house the other night and reminded me that there was a nearly new whirlpool washer up at our dad's house in the Albany/Hammond area. I couldn't believe I didn't think of that myself. So, Brent and I took a little road trip up to the "Old Place"last night to pick up our new machine. It just so happened to be my dad's birthday, so in honor of him we drove into Hammond to have dinner at my dad's (probably mine too) favorite place. I'm not exactly sure if it is the BBQ itself, or, if it's just the memories of my dad that make me love this place so much.
It was a great date night with Brent and hopefully we got a washer out of the deal too (we haven't hooked it up just yet so I'm hoping it works just fine after the move and shifting around.)
THE PERFECT PAIR
Brent had the BBQ BEEF
We prefer the BBQ Pork

Great date night indeed. I think my favorite part was the guy trying to hustle us at the gas station and then. We should include him in our yearly tradition. By the way I fixed your underline issue with my sexy computer skills.
Now I want a root beer!!!! That sounds like it was quite a blessing! It worked out great and what a good way to remember you dad! You look so good prego!
Hi-Ho is the BEST! We haven't eaten there in so long. We all need to go out to the old place together before the blackberries fade away.
