3 years feels good!
Happy Anniversary to us on 6/6.
Other news:
Brent got a SWEET assistantship with LSU! This is such a huge deal because they are really hard to come by and even more-so now with all of the State budget cuts. This assistanship though is no more than 20 hours a week, his graduate school tuition will be waived, they're providing and allowance towards his health insurance, AND they're going to pay him a very generous stipend. I'm still in shock. We deserve this though. We have endured some very challenging times, but have tried to always be positive and optimistic.
ALSO.....Dakota was finally accepted into an Academic Magnet School that focuses on Math, Science and Arts. This should fit him perfectly. This means no more private school tuition for him. We are clicking our heels together with joy.

awesome news!! i'm so glad things are working out. that assistantship sounds AMAZING! but it doesn't surprise me, as talented as Brent is and as wonderful as yall are :) take a deep breath in and enjoy!
We are so happy and pleased for you. Now go get um! So happy for Dakota, it is what we have been praying for.
When it rains it pours, right? Whether it's blessings or barriers! I am so happy for you, you DO deserve it. Can't wait to see your Brent in a few weeks, wish o wish you could join him (next time!)
