It only took me 29 years to go further west than Texas. Fortunately, the Utah Mangum's had some important events take place that made spending the money to fly in to SLC worth every penny. Their oldest child Lauren was baptized while we were there. Also, they welcomed a new addition to their family-Maya Kate- just a few weeks ago.
We were able to do quite a bit during our stay.
- Visited the Dinosaur Park in Ogden
- Visited Temple Square in Salt Lake City
- Hiked a mountain
- Went to a Super-Hero camp-out in the Canyon
- Played in a lake at the foot of a mountain
- Rode a train from Ogden to SLC
- Attended Lauren's Baptism
- Spent some quality time in the bookstore
- Enjoyed our UTAH Mangum's
We drove Carl Mangum's truck during our visit. It now has UTAH plates instead of Louisiana Plates.

What a fun visit! So glad you got to make the trip, sorry for the long delay in Denver. We miss up too, Easter was a long time ago.
