This is a big year ahead for our little family. This is the year that Brent and I both turn 30! This is the year that Dakota turns 8 and will be baptized. This is the year that we hopefully have Dakota sealed to us. This is the year Mom and Pop Mangum return from their mission. This is the year that is going to kick our tushes in terms of schooling, parenting, working, etc. We're going for it though knowing what's in store for us...exhaustion. If we can keep things (our kids, marriage, diets, finances, etc) together for the next 12 months, we should be in a pretty good place come January 2013...that is if the world doesn't end on December 21, 2012;)
We're sort of looking forward to it though and hope you'll tag along for the ride.

The Giant Snowman Pinata...biggest mistake of the night. Every kid was crying or on the verge of tears after. I will never endorse a pinata for a ward party again. By the way, I'm the one who purchased, filled, etc., so there's only myself to blame.

Wow! What an amazing party it must have been. You should go into the party-planning business, it looks fabulous! None of our Ward Parties ever look like that, Santa is lucky to have a cushioned chair! Happy New Year, and we will definitely be along for the ride!
