This is Robin typing in case anyone is wondering.

I received a text message yesterday morning from my boss saying "If you're bored, I could use some help in the office today." I nearly laughed at his assumption that I could possibly be bored during these times of chaos. A matter of fact, when I got the text I had already fixed breakfast, packed lunches, changed 3 too many diapers since waking, spent 45 minutes in the car doing drop off of Dakota, grocery shopped at Wal-mart, fed my baby, and seriously the list goes on. Keep in mind this all took place before 9:00 am.

I have been going into work quite often lately for an hour or two a few times a week just to keep things going. Annie goes with me and for the most part is very content and usually just sleeps in her car seat. Lately though, I have had quite a bit to do in the office and usually get trapped there for longer than expected. I haven't minded one bit helping out especially since my employers are paying me Maternity leave which I'm not really entitled to since I only work about 30 hours a week and it's a private company. I have been there for over 3 1/2 years though so I'm feeling like I've earned it.

Annie is now 3 weeks old and I am still in denial that she is growing this fast and that I seriously have to make some plans as far as what I'm going to do in the next couple of weeks when I am supposed to return to work at my normal hours. We really don't want to do child care and not to mention the hefty price tag associated with it. We're definitely in a state of limbo and don't know what the answer or solution is. We're praying though and hoping for the best scenario.

I second Meredith. I'm still in shock. You are a better woman than me. :)
