4 years ago-July 19, 2007-Brent and I shared our first kiss. I don't typically remember dates like this, but I remember this one specifically because he came over to my house after going to a temple session and I had just wrapped up hosting a baby shower for a good friend. I was actually the one who had to make the first move. We had been "hanging out" together for a while by that point and had gone to a young single adult conference in Pensacola, FL the weekend before. I knew at that YSA Conference that I only wanted to be with him. I tried to play it off and occupy myself with the other guys that were so kindly paying attention to me, but I wasn't very successful. There were quite a few ladies falling for my man and his moves on the dance floor. I felt that icky "jealousy" thing start to happen inside of me as I recognized that I really liked him and didn't like the competition.
It was out of character for me just to lay low and let the cards fall where they may before anything became official (and fortunately they fell my way). By the time we finally decided to actually exclusively date each other, I was already head over heels. I love this man and cherish that first kiss.

HOT! I almost couldn't look at the picture. I felt like I was peeping in on a private moment between you two! Sooooo glad you're the gal Brent chose. I wouldn't have wanted any one else for my sister in law;)
